Jisoo has been teasing fans with the release of her album, the first away from YG Entertainment. The company was blasted after news of BLACKPINK’s tour overlapped with schedules and seemingly emphasized the company was “sabotaging” Jisoo.

On February 14th, Jisoo released her album Amortage with the title track “earthquake.”

The song and album instantly garnered rave reviews, and it led to netizens berating and criticizing YG Entertainment.

On social media, netizens shared their anger that YG never let Jisoo showcase her full potential or talent with the tracks she released or performed. Many added that when Jisoo gets creative freedom and influence, she creates something that showcases just how talented the idol really is.
