When speaking about the relationship, he mentioned his worry about making a statement whenever something about Kim Sae Ron appeared due to the impact it would have, specifically mentioning Queen of Tears.
The show was a huge hit, and netizens reacted negatively to the actor’s mention of the series, believing he did it to try to sway public opinion with the popular K-Drama. They added that it felt like an excuse. They added that rather than addressing the serious allegations, the use of the drama name pushed the idea that the press conference became all about him and like a “sob story.”
