This young actress got the chance of a lifetime on stage at the KBS Drama Awards.
At a press conference for the drama Oh My Geum Bi, 9-year-old child actress Heo Jung Eun revealed that she already had star Song Joong Ki‘s phone number. According to the young actress, she first met the Descendants of the Sun star in the hallway at the 2016 KBS Drama Awards and couldn’t help but be a little star-struck by the handsome 31-year-old actor. She said, “my heart was pounding because I had only ever seen him on television.”
She then went on to state, “Song Joong Ki petted my head. I couldn’t say anything at all. It was just so great.”
The two shared a moment on stage at the show, where the actress won Best Child Actress for her roles in Oh My Geum-Bi, Love in the Moonlight, and My Lawyer, Mr. Jo.
Another sweet moment from the night occurred when Song Joong Ki watched Park Bo Gum’s award speech – the whole event was totally sweet! Song Joong Ki also took home titles, including the Grand Award for his starring role in Descendants of the Sun. Congratulations to both performers on their wins for the evening!
