Drama “Goblin” Turns This Far Away Land Into A Number 1 Tourist Spot For Koreans
tvN’s “Goblin” has given Canada a surge in popularity due to the beautiful locations that appeared in the show.
During the January 30th episode of Abnormal Summit, the Canadian panelist Guillaume Patry explained that since scenes of Quebec City appeared in the show, Korean tourists have been flocking to Canada to visit the locations seen in the drama.
One scene in particular has played a big role in this trend. The beautiful Fairmont Le Château Frontenac Hotel, a location used in episode 2, 14 and 15 of “Goblin”, has beckoned the show’s fans to visit and stay in the hotel.
Many other locations of the city appeared in the show, causing Korean fans to fall in love with just how picturesque the city is. Abnormal Summit is a talk-show from JTBC where a panel of non-Korean men who are living in Korea discuss different topics and give their perspective of Korean culture.
