KCON recently announced that girl group EXID would be joining the lineup for this year’s highly anticipated KCON Mexico.
To the delight of avid K-POP fans in Latin America, KCON announced that it would be expanding to Mexico last December, making it the fifth country to host the convention. The event is forecasted to take place in the Mexico City Arena from March 17th to the 18th.

KCON Mexico’s artist list is slowly being released and so far has revealed male artists ASTRO, MONSTA X, Eric Nam, and BTS. Now they have added EXID as the first girl group to their lineup.

The lovely members of EXID (which stands for “Exceed in Dreaming”) rose to fame after their 2014 hit single “Up & Down,” which won them their first music show win in 2015. They released their first studio album, Street, last summer and won first place in a few music programs with the popular track, “L.I.E.”
