This Gorgeous Korean Barista Recreates World-Famous Paintings Using Coffee
A barista in Seoul is taking coffee art to a whole new level and makes latte flowers look like child’s play.
Lee Kang Bin is the man behind these beautiful pieces of latte art and regularly welcomes Somi into his cafe for a cup of delicious, and beautifully presented, coffee.
The coffee artist calls his works “Cream art” and has recreated many pieces of world-renowned paintings and cartoon characters on his coffee cups.
Each cup takes about 15 minutes to finish and it only takes $8.71 to get one of these masterpieces served to your table.
Lee uses tiny brushes and spoons to paint and spread thick cream colored with food coloring on top of the latte.
All the mini creations are completely drinkable, so remember to sip up the art before it completely cools down.
Lee has won over the hearts of thousands with his latte art and has created an enthusiastic following for the café online and offline.
He has even made idols appear atop his freshly brewed cups of java.
To order up an art cup of your own, head to C.Through Coffee Shop in Seungdong district, Seoul…
And look for this handsome barista.
