KFC Is Releasing Its Own Smartphone In China
To mark its 30th anniversary in China, KFC is collaborating with Chinese telecommunications company Huawei to release its own-branded smartphone.
The limited-edition phone adopts a festive red color scheme with the face of Colonel Sanders emblazoned on the back.
Available for pre-order on July 13, the phone is priced 1099RMB (around 162 USD) and limited to just 5000 lucky customers.
The phone boasts a 5.5-inch display, a Snapdragon 425 processor, and has 3 GB of RAM and upgradable storage starting from 32 GB.
The customized phone also comes with a fingerprint scanner, 3,020mAh battery, and a 13-megapixel front camera.
On top of all that, the phone comes with a pre-installed KFC music app that allows customers to play their music at any Chinese KFC location.
Along with each purchase, buyers will be rewarded with 10,000k WOW Membership gold, 10 KFC coupons, and a pair of Huawei am115 earphones.
