No Min Woo (ICON) goes back to his rock roots with 10th debut anniversary Japan concert
Singer and actor No Min Woo, also known through his stage name ICON, recently held his 10th anniversary concert in Japan, going back to his original roots of rock as he performed with passion on stage for fans.
Fans responded with great enthusiasm during the concert, which was held on December 20th and 21st in Tokyo, the show ending in success. This was No Min Woo’s first solo concert in Japan since his TRAX days, his popularity in the country not having deteriorated since then.
His agency MJ Dream commented, “No Min Woo, who debuted in Japan in 2004, was able to finish the year by spending some time with Japanese fans and celebrated his 10th debut anniversary. In 2015, fans can look forward to better work and music.”
Currently, No Min Woo is starring in the Chosun TV drama The Greatest Marriage alongside Park Si Yeon and Bae Soo Bin.
He made his debut as the drummer of SM Entertainment’s rock-pop group The TRAX (now TRAX) in 2004 as Rose, before bowing out of the group to pursue his passion in acting in 2006. He has since then featured in various dramas such as Pasta, My Girlfriend is a Nine-Tailed Fox, Midas, Full House Take 2, God’s Gift – 14 Days, and more. In 2013, he made a comeback as a solo singer under the stage name ICON.
