12 Korean Actors Whose Careers Started Booming After Serving In The Military
For many idols and actors, they begin their career early and serve in the military once they turn 30.
These 12 actors, however, chose to serve early in life and can launch their acting career without the worry of fans waiting for their comebacks.
1.Kim Jung Hyun
Kim Jung Hyun debuted late in 2015 and made himself known in the movie called Overman and gained fame through a k-drama School 2017.
He was glad to have served earlier in his life and give all for his acting career.
2. Ryu Jun Ryeol
Ryu Jun Ryeol lived a relatively normal university life and did not dream to become an actor initially.
He served his term in the public services and said that he felt a little embarrassed for acting as a pilot in the air force in Reply 1988.
3. Park Seo Joon
Park Seo Joon served his term in the correctional services in a prison.
He enlisted himself to get his mind off of his anxiety of feeling like he couldn’t do anything with his life.
4. Ahn Jae Hyun
Ahn Jae Hyun was sad that he was excused from the military service due to his retinal detachment surgery in high school.
So he voluntarily enlisted himself to the military public services and served his duty as a man.

Korea’s adorned child actor Yoo Seung Ho grew up and went to the army as soon as he turned 19.
He wanted to get his mind off of his future career as an actor.

Yoo Yeon Seok enlisted himself in air force because of his girl friend’s suggestion.
But she ended up cheating on him when he was serving his term.

Kawk Si Yang initially worked as a model under SM Entertainment before he went to the army. He enlisted himself in his early 20s and came out to launch his acting career.

Lee Kwang Soo was unsure of his future acting career with the increasing unemployment rate of recent grads and went to serve his term in the military to think things through.
