In the early hours of November 17, Kangin was reported to have assaulted his girlfriend at a bar.

The police were called in after someone reported that Kangin was hitting his girlfriend.

However, Kangin’s girlfriend said she did not want to press charges so the authorities stepped away.

SM Entertainment made a statement regarding the assault reports.
