This May Sound Weird But Adding Milk To Your Ramen Can Make It Taste 100x Better
Korean ramen is famous for being super spicy but there are many ways to tweak the recipe to make an ordinary spicy noodle soup a little less spicy and a little more endurable.
In order to reduce the spice and add some creamy flavor, adding a glass of milk could help.
This will make some people cringe but adding some milk to your ordinary spicy ramen can actually bring up the flavor and lower the sodium content at the same time!
The recipe is so easy, you could make a dish in less than 10 minutes.
First, bring water to boil in a small saucepan and add the dried instant ramen noodles and cook for 3 minutes (or until noodles are tender), while stirring occasionally.
Drain the water using a strainer or just pick all the noodles out of the saucepan.
Add butter, milk, 1 tablespoon of Korean hot pepper powder, chopped leeks, and a portion of the contents of the seasoning packet into a saucepan.
Stir constantly over low heat until the butter is melted and the noodles are coated with creamy sauce, then serve!
