Wanna One Minhyun Reads Hand Written Letter About Disbanding
During their recent concert, Wanna One‘s Hwang Minhyun read aloud a letter that he wrote for his fans. He began his letter by thanking them for all the new experiences he was able to accomplish this year.
“No matter how many times I say thank you, it’s never enough to fully express how thankful I am to the Wannables.
Thanks to them, Wanna One and I were able to have so many new experiences.
I’m surprised, happy, and proud.
Sometimes I would feel tired and exhausted, but every time I stared into your bright eyes from the stage, I gained strength.
I realized something after meeting Wannable… that I should become someone who knows how to love those around him.
I’m living a great life and will continue to live a great life thanks to those who smile and cry right along with me.”

Minhyun then touched upon the topic of Wanna One’s upcoming disbandment. Fans began crying when Minhyun expressed how sad he would feel whenever he thought about their inevitable future.
“I treasured each and every moment as I became closer to my members and Wannables.
But I also felt a heaviness in my heart. I hate thinking about the word ‘disbandment’, yet I find myself feeling a little sadder the happier I get.”

But he closed off his letter on a happy note. He promised that he would never take their love for granted and continue to strive harder as an artist.
“But I think it’s important to focus on the present, so I will treasure this moment where I’m close to those who love me the most.
I won’t take your love for granted and continue to work harder. I’ll dance, sing and love sincerely for my Wannables.”
