BTS Snags Not One But Two Awards At 2018 iHeart Radio Music Awards
BTS dropped a Bangtan bomb at the 2018 iHeartRadio Music Awards, winning both “Best Fan Army” and “Best Boy Band”.
In the weeks leading up to the iHeartRadio Music Awards, BTS’s fans tweeted like crazy, to gather votes for their favorite stars.

“Best Fan Army” and “Best Boy Band” are both socially voted categories. With more fans enlisting in BTS’s A.R.M.Y every day, the wins came as no surprise!
For “Best Fan Army”, BTS went up against EXO, along with Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber, Camila Cabello, Fifth Harmony, Demi Lovato, Shawn Mendes, Little Mix, Selena Gomez, Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift.
For “Best Boy Band” BTS competed with AJR, CNCO, In Real Life, PRETTYMUCH, The Vamps, and Why Don’t We.
Unfortunately, BTS could not attend the awards ceremony, due to crammed schedules and preparations for their new album. To thank A.R.M.Ys for their ongoing love, recorded the following two video messages.
“We are always overwhelmed by your support,” RM says. “This award signifies passion and devotion of BTS A.R.M.Y.”
“This is the award our BTS A.R.M.Y literally made happen.”
BTS also took to Twitter to show their appreciation.
