Steve Aoki mentioned BTS‘s role in “connecting culture” while speaking on Billboard‘s global production panel.
He was a member of Billboard’s “Producing for the Global Market” panel discussion as part of Billboard’s Latin Music Week, together with fellow artists RedOne, Andres Torres and Mauricio Rengifo.
Steve Aoki discussed his work with non-English-speaking artists such as BTS and Daddy Yankee and how those songs can still become global hits.

The DJ worked with BTS on their “Mic Drop (Remix)” in 2017 and has confirmed further collaborations with them on an original track in 2018.
Steve Aoki has also worked with international artists like Marc Anthony, Louis Tomlinson, Iggy Azalea, Enrique Iglesias and Play-N-Skillz, as well as a slew of American hip hop artists, rappers and pop singers.
