ARMYs Help Raise $1 Million For Charity By Trending #RoarForChange
BTS’s loyal fans got a special shoutout from Star Wars following their participation for charity campaign, “Roar For Change.”
It all started after entertainment reporter George Pennacchio posted a tweet about the campaign. Sensing the need of a bigger response, he felt the need to address ARMYs and tagged them on his tweet.

For every like, share or post, Force For Change U.S matched the amount in dollars to UNICEF USA.

The campaign was supposed to last until May 25th but the donation was matched a day after it was launched. In less than 24 hours, Star Wars was able to reach their goal and donated $1 million to UNICEF USA.

A special shout-out to BTS’ fans was also posted recognizing their efforts in achieving their donation goal.

#RoarForChange was one of their annual campaigns in celebration of #StarWarsDay on May 4th of every year.
The campaign was to provide funds to support UNICEF’s project on providing food packets to children suffering from malnutrition.
