BTS Becomes The First Non-English Artist To Rank #1 On Billboard’s “Artist 100” Chart
Following BTS’ domination of the Billboard charts, including the Hot 100 and Billboard 200 Albums Chart, they have once again set a historic moment for foreign artists in the United States.
BTS have ranked #1 on the Artist 100 chart, which ranks the top 100 artists in the United States for the week.
The group was ranked #4 last week. Their previous peak was #2 back in April.
Not only are they the first K-Pop group to take the #1 spot, but this is also the first time an artist who performs mainly in a language other than English reached #1 on the Artists 100 chart since the chart was created in July 2014.
The Artist 100 chart measures artist activity through the combination of album and song sales, radio time, streaming, and social media.
Congratulations to BTS!
