UNICEF’s Executive Director Delivers A Special Message To BTS And ARMY’s

BTS and ARMY are changing the world one campaign at a time.

BTS and ARMY seem to be taking over the world and changing it for the better. On November 1, 2017, BTS and UNICEF launched the “Love Myself” campaign in the hopes of making the world a safer place for children and teens.

The project goes hand in hand with BTS’s similarly titled charity fund. This fund is set to run for two years and includes at least 500 million won coming from Big Hit Entertainment and the members!

Since the project first started, BTS and ARMY have made #ENDviolence a trending topic for change and have raised over $1 million! The big achievement didn’t go unnoticed. UNICEF’s executive director, Henrietta Fore, gave a special shoutout to the group and their fanbase.

The touching message has warmed the hearts of ARMY who took to Twitter to share their own thank you messages.

This isn’t the first time that BTS and ARMY were able to make a huge change. Earlier this year they helped to make #RoarForChange a trending topic.

Okay, #BTSArmy, show your power for charity! Between now & 5/25/18, for every like, share or public post on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram where we see this hashtag – #RoarForChange – Force For Change U.S. will donate a dollar to @UNICEFUSA. #MayThe4thBeWithYou @BTS_ARMY

Thanks to their help, the campaign was able to raise $1 million dollars and the fandom got a special message from Star Wars!

A big congratulations and thank you to BTS and ARMY for contributing to these good causes!
