BTS’s “Love Yourself: Tear” Is The 4th Best-Selling Album In The World For 2018

And they’ve set another record!

BTS just keep coming out on top. The group’s latest album, Love Yourself: Tear, has been on Billboard’s World Albums chart since it was released. If that wasn’t awesome enough, the album has also reached yet another major achievement.

The United World Chart recently put out their midyear report for 2018. As it turns out, Love Yourself: Tear has managed to snag 4th place on their list of best selling albums worldwide so far.

First place goes to the OST of “The Greatest Showman”, 2nd place to Ed Sheeran’s Divide, and 3rd to Post Malone’s Beerbongs & Bentleys.

The album has sold an impressive 164,000 copies in the U.S alone. In total, estimated sales for the album around the world are 1,919,000!

It’s even more exciting when you consider the fact that the album was only released 6 weeks ago!

On top of the honor of coming in 4th on the list, the album has also achieved the highest rank ever for a Korean album on any midyear album sales report!

A big congratulations to BTS for crushing it and setting a new record!
