Every year, K-Pop fans tune into the Melon Music Awards to support their favourite idol groups, but that’s not the only reason to look forward to this award show. 2018 MMA was the perfect time to see idols interacting with friends outside of their own group!

2. When The Boyz’s Younghoon met his role model

According to fans, Younghoon is a huge admirer of BTS‘s V. At MMA he was finally able to stand right beside V for this The Boyz x BTS group photo.

Fans of both groups were elated to witness several interactions between the groups, both on stage…

Although iKON and BTS didn’t have many chances to directly interact at 2018 MMA, they repeatedly showed support through their respectful greetings and reactions.

At the end of the show, fans were delighted to see BTS’s RM walk over to iKON to congratulate them directly.
