Here’s What Korean Women Really Think About Facial Hair

In the latest episode of Koreaboo Studios‘ Koreans Answer series, we asked Korean women how they feel about facial hair.

Many participants said they prefer clean-shaven men. To them, facial hair makes a man seem like he isn’t looking after himself, or his appearance. It says something negative about his character.

The exception, for some women, were foreign men with well-groomed beards and specific Korean celebrities.

Other women, however, said they like facial hair. To them, it improves a man’s appearance by making him look stronger.
