Mnet’s “Unpretty Rapstar” to extend with two more episodes
There is good news for all Korean rap and hip-hop fans as Mnet just announced its plan to extend Unpretty Rapstar with two more episodes, increasing the number of episodes to eight for the season.
According to Mnet on February 23rd, “It has been finally confirmed that ‘Unpretty Rapstar’ will be extended by two episodes. With the additional two episodes, the show that was to initially end with a total of six episodes will now end on March 26th instead.”
Unpretty Rapstar, an all-female spin-off of Show Me the Money, features eight women rappers competing to win a chance to feature in one of the show’s album tracks. The survival show’s cast includes AOA’s Jimin, Yuk Ji Dam, Tymee, Jolly V, Lil Cham, Kisum, Cheetah, and Jessi. Recently, the show changed its rules, introducing an elimination rule as one of the original cast is in danger of getting outed with another female rapper joining its lineup.
Unpretty Rapstar airs every Thursdays on Mnet at 11PM KST.
