Yoon Ji Oh Says She Will Take Legal Action Against Malicious Commenters
Yoon Ji Oh was a friend and colleague of the late Jang Ja Yeon who committed suicide in 2009.
Jang Ja Yeon left behind a suicide letter where she talked about being forced to entertain and have sex with many powerful executives in the media industry. Yoon Ji Oh saw her get sexually abused at a party shortly before her death, and she testified to this effect in court.
Despite her noble intentions, many commenters online have been leaving malicious comments, bashing Yoon Ji Oh and her character. She posted pictures of malicious comments made about her on Instagram, saying she would take legal action against those making these comments.
One of the comments called into question the actress’s character, saying she had ulterior motives for speaking up for Jang Ja Yeon. The next day, Yoon Ji Oh posted a picture of the commenter apologising for what they said.
She responded through a caption:
I forgive you but you have to take responsibility for things you say carelessly. You know my face and my name but you shouldn’t talk like you know my whole life.

She then included a message to others who are making malicious comments about her.
I will survive and make people take legal resppnsibility for the unjust and offensive things that happen to me both online and offline. You should not say and do things you can’t take responsibility for.
