SM Revealed Chen Will Not Be Appearing On "You Hee-Yeol's Sketchbook" And Fans Are Not Happy

SM Entertainment recently revealed that EXO‘s Chen will not be making an appearance on You Hee-Yeol’s Sketchbook at the end of March and EXO-Ls are not happy.

At the beginning of the month, it was announced that ahead of his official solo debut Chen would be making an appearance on You Hee-Yeol’s Sketchbook at the end of March. Chen would have been the very first EXO member to perform solo on the show, but it looks like that won’t be happening now or at least not anytime soon.

SM Entertainment just posted a notice on EXO’s official notice board and unfortunately, it’s not good news. They revealed that Chen will not be on the show at the end of the month while saying that the final confirmation had been delayed.

KBS-2TV’s You Hee-Yeol’s Sketchbook will not feature Chen. Thank you for your understanding that the final confirmation has been delayed.

The announcement immediately caught attention from the EXO-L community and not in a good way. Fans have been expressing how upset they are that the event has been delayed.

In fact, many fans have expressed their thoughts that the delay really means his appearance on the show won’t be happening at all especially since their choice of words wasn’t all too clear.

SM better have rescheduled Jongdae's appearance on Sketchbook otherwise we riding at dawn. Jongdae DESERVES to be there. He NEEDS good promo. People need to KNOW about the vocal legend that is Kim Jongdae but SM can't even do that properly. I hate them

Despite many EXO-Ls believing they won’t get to see Chen on the show anytime soon, others have expressed their optimism that it simply means his appearance will be pushed back sometime in April.

All we can hope for is Jongdae will make an appearance on Sketchbook on the 5th April.

I wonder sm push the real date because You Hee-yeol’s Sketchbook is on friday (probably on 30th march), since we know on 1st april 2019, exo chen is having a solo debut.

While we won’t know for sure when Chen will appear on the show until SM Entertainment confirms it, there’s still hope that we will all be able to hear Chen’s beautiful voice there soon.
