BLACKPINK’s Lisa Lands Her First Ever Thai Endorsement Deal
BLACKPINK‘s Lisa has just landed her first ever endorsement deal in her home country of Thailand. According to Thai news outlet Positioning, Lisa just signed an endorsement contract with AIS, Thailand’s largest mobile phone operator. Her endorsement advertisements and promotional materials are expected expected to be unveiled in April.
AIS is reported to have spent a great deal of effort in trying to negotiate this deal, which the specific details have not been released. The reported amount Lisa will receive is on the high end when compared to AIS’s other models, with rumors of it hitting 8 figures (in Thailand, 10,000,000 Baht is worth $313,480).
The reason Lisa is so highly coveted as a model in Thailand is because she has a huge fan base of both male and females, old and young. The combination of her fan base and her positive and intelligent image, speaking 4 languages (Thai, English, Korean, Japanese), makes her the perfect model for the entire country.
Only Thailand’s most popular celebrities are signed as endorsement models for AIS, including GOT7‘s BamBam, Jirayu Tangsrisuk, Nathaphon Temirak, and Nittha Jirayungyurn.
