Kris and Luhan rumored to guest star on Chinese Running Man, “Hurry Up, Brother!”
According to Chinese media, former EXO members,Kris and Luhan, will be guest starring on Hurry Up, Brother, the Chinese adaption of SBS’s hit variety show Running Man.
On March 4th, reports indicated that the cue sheet for Hurry Up, Brother‘s second season was leaked online and included the filming schedule, cast line-up, and guest stars that will be featured in upcoming episodes.
The list revealed that all 7 fixed cast members from the first season would return in the second season and guests include Mandopop (Mandarin Pop) mega stars Jolin Tsai and Show Luo. However, what caught the eyes of Korean media and netizens was the appearance of Kris and Luhan among the extensive list of guests.
Kris and Luhan are currently embroiled in a legal battle with their former Korean entertainment agency SM Entertainment following their contract nullification lawsuits submitted in May and October, respectively. SM Entertainment has actively been pursuing the two, stating intent to countersue for their illegal activities in China as their contract nullification suit had not yet been settled, however, both singers have fought back against the countersuit.
Both parties have entered mediation on separate occasions and have yet to reach a compromise, though their most recent mediation date was pushed back.
Based on the leaked scheduled posted online, Hurry Up, Brother is said to begin filming for the second season from March 9th to March 13th in Chengdu, while producers have confirmed that the show will begin airing in mid-April.
