BLACKPINK Didn’t Attend The MET Gala, But This Dress Is Going Viral For Looking Like Their Lightstick
The annual Met Gala is one of the most anticipated fashion events in the world. Every year, thousands of fans from all over the world patiently wait to see how their faves will interpret the year’s theme in their wardrobe. This year’s theme was “Camp”. “Camp” is basically something that looks so good because it’s so bad, and/or cheesy.
Some notable attendees were Zendaya, who dressed as Cinderella, and Katy Perry, who came as a chandelier and a cheeseburger.
One dress in particular caught BLINKs’ attention for being strikingly (no pun intended) similar to BLACKPINK‘s Hammerbong.
Talented BLINKs got straight to work editing the photo and creating memes.

The wearer of the “Hammerbong dress” is E! News reporter Alicia Quarles.
She looked absolutely stunning in the black sweetheart cut dress with white wing-like ruffles. The dress landed her on Vogue Magazine‘s “Best Dressed” list for the gala. Clearly, the likeness to the BLACKPINK lightstick was purely coincidental, but if it wasn’t, it technically still would’ve fit in the “camp” theme.
