Jungkook Knows About The Euphoria Fanchant And ARMY Are Screaming
On May 15th, BTS released the concert DVD for their Love Yourself tour in Europe. The DVD featured a clip of Jungkook reacting to a fancam of foreign fans chanting along to his performance of Euphoria.
Euphoria has no official fan-chant so Jungkook was initially confused by the video, trying to listen closely to what ARMY was saying. Jimin and V stood behind their maknae curious to know what the chant was.
After listening multiple times, Jungkook figured out just what ARMY was chanting:
Annyeonghaseyo jeoneun Bangtan Sonyeondan hwanggeum maknae Jeon Jungkook imnida. (Hello. I’m Jeon Jungkook, the golden youngest member of BTS)
– ARMY
Jungkook then erupted into laughter while Jimin called it cute and wondered aloud why they made that into a chant. The origin of the line is from this clip of Jungkook doing aegyo backstage at Music Core.
The use of this line in Euphoria specifically was popularised by YouTuber ByronVids who made a video of him editing the line into Euphoria and other K-Pop songs.
ARMY is screaming that Jungkook knows about their funny chant and watching him find out about it will make your day one-hundred times better.
