Amber reveals she feels hurt when she gets mistaken for a boy
On the recent episode of MBC’s real variety show I Live Alone f(x) member Amber shares her feelings on being mistaken for a boy.
During the broadcast of I Live Alone on March 6th, Amber, who has been gaining attention for her appearance on Real Men, appeared on the show as a guest. While on the show, Amber confessed her feelings about getting mistaken for a boy due to her tomboy style, “I may look strong, but I hurt easily”.
Amber then added, “I’m a female, but people get surprised when I go to the bathroom. They would say to me, ‘I think you have come into the wrong bathroom.’ Their mistake is understandable, but to be honest I can’t help but feel hurt.”
The singer also shared, “I would like for people to say it better. People have the tendency to say it in an aggressive manner.”
Having made her solo debut with her mini-album Beautiful back in February, Amber has been keeping herself busy with promotions and show appearances. Amber had previously appeared on Mnet‘s 4 Things Show, where she opened up on her past insecurities on her weight. Just recently Amber also joined her close friend Ailee on Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook putting on a performance to Mark Ronson‘s “Uptown Funk”.
