GOT7’s Yugyeom Talks About Becoming Friends With BTS’s Jungkook
GOT7‘s maknae, Yugyeom, recently talked about his friendship with another famous maknae: BTS‘s Jungkook.
Yugyeom and Jungkook are both part of the 97 liner friendship circle, which also includes SEVENTEEN’s DK, Mingyu, and The8, ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo, and GOT7’s BamBam.
Even with their packed schedules, these friends still find time to meet up now and then. Back in March, Mingyu shared this group photo of them dining at a Korean barbecue restaurant.
On the May 21 episode of Idol Room, Yugyeom talked about how his friendship with Jungkook started.
I’m good friends with chef Lee Yeon Bok and BTS’s Jungkook. When I was 19, we went on the MAMA stage with them. Afterward, we exchanged phone numbers and became close friends. We are the ’97 liner friends.

Jungkook and Yugyeom are currently countries apart but, as always, GOTBANG fans are looking forward to their reunion.
