Former T-ARA member and KBS The Unit contestant Areum revealed that she would be getting married on February 9, 2020, to her fiancé.
In an Instagram post, she revealed the news as well as pictures of him for the very first time.
I met a grateful person who taught me how to love. He taught me how to receive it, and he’s a man I am grateful to, who held on to me firmly when I was in danger of grasping at straws. He is a comforting and loving person that tells me I am precious, every day. And that’s why I am revealing this.
I am finally getting married at the age of 26 and becoming an adult!

She revealed she worried a lot before telling her fans, but decided it was the right thing to do.
I hesitated a lot about whether I should let you all know or not, but since I’ve straightened out my own thoughts and looked at the reality of it, I think it’s right that I let you all know. The fans who have supported and stood by me, and my friends and acquaintances that I am thankful for. You have all been the biggest source of strength for me up until now.
