SBS Mega Blockbuster Drama “VAGABOND” Finally Confirms Airing Date
SBS‘s new mega blockbuster drama VAGABOND has finally confirmed its premiere date, September 20, on both SBS and Netflix.
The premiere of the drama was intended to be in April, but due to prolonged discussions with Netflix, the release was delayed. The drama finished its filming in May 2019, unintentionally making the drama a fully pre-produced one.
VAGABOND tells the story of a man involved in the crash of a civilian aircraft, that devolves into a huge state of corruption that is discovered while trying to find out the truth to the crash.
Lee Seung Gi will play the role of Cha Geon, a stuntman who aspires to become an action film actor and dominate the action film industry in the future. He is full of confidence and doesn’t show much respect to others.
Suzy will play the role of Go Hae Ri, an NIS agent whose father died during an operation with the Marines. Although she appears to be patriotic, she actually chose to join the NIS to help support her mother and younger brother.
VAGABOND is a spy and action thriller with many twists, but also incorporate melodrama and comedy aspects into the drama.
VAGABOND will be directed by Yoo In Shik PD, whose resume includes Giant, History of a Salaryman, Incarnation of Money, You’re All Surrounded, Mrs. Cop, and Dr. Romantic. It will be written by Jang Young Chul and Jung Kyung Soon, who worked on Giant, History of a Salaryman, and Incarnation of Money with Yoo In Shik.
