Fans Vote Lee Hyori As Best Female Solo Artist
In today’s Korean entertainment industry, it is hard for former group members or members of 1st generation groups to stand on their own.
This seems to be especially hard for female artists in particular. However, there are some rare artists that overcome this stigma and make a name for themselves.
According to Data Spring Korea, they held a survey from September 9 to 13 which asked people 14 years and up to choose who is the ‘Best Female Solo Artist.”
Fin.k.L member Lee Hyori took the win for this survey.
She first debuted in 1998 through Fin.k.L and later released her solo album in 2003 with her title song, “10 Minutes.”
Recently, she has been receiving much attention through her appearances on JTBC’s “Camping Club” and “Hyori’s Homestay.”
Fin.k.L has also reported their first comeback in 14 years!
