Wildly talented K-Pop boy group BTS has ARMYs around the world, so most people will be unsurprised to learn that they have the globally top-selling album of 2019… Thus far.
Although their success isn’t unexpected, the album in question, MAP OF THE SOUL: PERSONA, beat out albums by Billie Eilish, Arianda Grande, and Tayor Swift, whose fans, colloquially known as Swifties, are a hardcore bunch, making the achievement all the more impressive.
