BTS Is The First Non-English Artist To Be Nominated For “Favorite Duo/Group” At The AMAs Since 1974
BTS has achieved yet another milestone!
On October 25, the nominations for the different categories of the American Music Awards (AMAs) 2019 was revealed, and BTS was nominated for a whole lot of them!
One of the categories that they’ve been nominated for is the “Favorite Duo/Group” category, and along with being the first Korean artist to be nominated for the category, they’re also the first non-English artist to be nominated for the award since the AMAs first began in 1974!

The 47th Annual American Music Awards will be held on November 24, 2019 at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.
