Park Bo Young Will Be Going On Temporary Hiatus Due To A Serious Arm Injury
Park Bo Young let her fans know through a personal live broadcast that she will be taking a temporary hiatus due to an arm injury she suffered in the past.
During her live broadcast, which lasted more than 2 hours, she talked with her fans about how she was doing and some of her stories about meeting her fans. She then got into a more serious topic, her health.
Park Bo Young told her fans about the condition of her arm, which has been hurting for a long time.
My arm is in a painful condition. I injured my arm a long time ago, but I haven’t been able to (find time) for treatment. I can finally get treatment on it now. Normally, I have to wear a cast and sling, but for today, I took it off. I was told I need to wear a cast for 6 months. If you see me in public, you’ll be able to see me wearing the cast.

Following the reveal of her injury, she continued that she would be taking a temporary hiatus to focus on treatment for her injury.
I’m going to be taking a break for my health. It’s not something that I can coordinate myself. I think it will take a long time before I will be able to return. I may be taking a break, but I can’t help it. I was told to get to my senses, but it’s too hard to. I’m sad about it too. Please don’t be too hard on me. I will have many works to return with when I get healthy again.

Park Bo Young’s last work before her hiatus was in tvN drama Abyss, which aired in June 2019.
