First, there was the infamous tour date list leak by VIP Nation (a Live Nation company) on January 20. The list of tour stops, since deleted, included these North American cities: Santa Clara, Los Angeles, Dallas, Orlando, Atlanta, East Rutherford, Landover, Toronto, and Chicago.
Less than a day after the leak, Canadian ARMYs were left mystified by a mysterious BTS projection on the Rogers Centre: a stadium in downtown Toronto. Meanwhile, US fans were spotting 2020 BTS tour billboards and advertisements in Santa Clara, Orlando, and Chicago.
Now, Live Nation has appeared to have leaked ticket sale dates for the tour. These particular screenshots show a countdown to February 7 at 3:00 PM (EST) for a May 17th show in Atlanta, the same date listed in the VIP Nation leak. That’s just 17 days away!
This Live Nation event page now displays this message instead of a countdown, indicating that work is still being done behind the scenes.
Given how much unconfirmed information has been revealed in such a short time, it seems like the “leaks” could be part of a new marketing tactic.
Tbh all the leaks may very well have been intentional. This type of covert, guerilla marketing would play nicely into this new concept/era they are establishing for #MOTS7 and has certainly succeeded in keeping all of us feeling in the #Shadow. @BTS_twt #BTSARMY #bts

It’s either that or everybody is slipping lately!
Imagine it’s your job to test the tour ticket sale pages on live nation. You’re working out the kinks in the code and all of sudden you get a call from your boss that you fucked up because thousands of Army saw the BTS page live while you working on it and called to confirm info.
