Here Are 10 K-Pop Idols That Would Definitely Be Gryffindors

It can be fun to think about what houses people you know would be sorted into in the Harry Potter universe.  And even though we may not know K-Pop idols personally, there are some idols whose personality traits shine through enough that we could try to guess at which house would suit them best!

Gryffindors are known for being brave and daring.  In fact, the Sorting Hat once said,

“You might belong in Gryffindor,
Where dwell the brave at heart,
Their daring, nerve, and chivalry
Set Gryffindors apart.”

Here are a list of idols whose brave acts and bold personality may have sorted them into Gryffindor if they went to Hogwarts!

1. TWICE’s Jihyo

As most leaders in the K-Pop industry, Jihyo is known for being brave and sticking up and caring for her members.  Coming out with her relationship with Kang Daniel was also incredibly courageous!

2. BTS’s RM

RM himself claimed that he would be sorted into Gryffindor, as well as fellow BTS member Jin!  And that shouldn’t come as a surprise to fans, given how RM often boldly takes the lead in interviews, especially international ones!

3. Girls’ Generations’ Taeyeon

Another wonderful leader, Taeyeon has bravely overcome many hardships in her life to get to her place of leadership in Girls’ Generation.

4. NCT’s Johnny

While well-mannered, Johnny has a charismatic, outgoing personality and can be a leader when he needs to be.

5. Sunmi

Sunmi had to mourn the loss of her father only months before her debut, and yet she was able to continue on with her very successful career anyway despite this devastating event.

6. SEVENTEEN’s DK

He recently played none other than King Arthur in the musical Excalibur, and is already known for his loud and bold personality – a perfect fit for Gryffindor.

7. MAMAMOO’s Hwasa

Hwasa is known for her incredible charisma and confident personality on stage, so she would fit right into the brave house!

8. ATEEZ’s Wooyoung

Wooyoung is known for his extreme confidence in his looks and skills – and they’re well-deserved!  He would definitely belong in the house known for its confidence.

9. BLACKPINK’s Lisa

Lisa, too, is known for her confidence and charisma on stage – just look at her dancing skills, it’s no wonder! – and she also seems quite adventurous as well.
