Girl group Two X terminates contract with management company, delaying comeback
Five-member girl group Two X has terminated their contract with an outside management agency.
The group Two X consists of members Jiyou, Eun, Minjoo, Surin, and Eunyoung, and made their debut in 2012 under J.Tune Camp, gaining the name of MBLAQ‘s sister group. After an eye-catching debut, the group last released the single “Ring Ma Bell” (2013) before ending their contract with J.Tune Camp and signing on with Star Gaze Entertainment in 2014.
Star Gaze Entertainment stated that they will “terminate the current contract Two X has with external companies related to their management in order to pursue aggressive campaigns and activities with the management in itself.”
“Two X is preparing for their comeback in midst of their international activities, and despite the controversy regarding the contracts with outside companies and the possible break up of the group, there aren’t any problems. Please expect Two X’s great return at the second half of the year.”
Two X will be managed internally by Star Gaze Entertainment instead of via an external source, and will have their first album released under their agency since leaving J.Tune Camp.
