BLINKs Trend #BLACKPINK1YearOfHiatus Worldwide To Demand Answers From YG Entertainment
On several occasions, YG Entertainment has been under the scrutiny of BLACKPINK‘s fans, from accusations of neglecting Rosé to putting the group on the backburner in preparation for their upcoming girl group.
When fans discovered that the group would finally make a comeback in March, they were extremely excited to see the girls promoting new music. That didn’t work out as planned, with the comeback reportedly being postponed due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. That wasn’t an answer BLINKs found acceptable, though.
They pointed out the company not only allowing iKON to release their comeback album I Decide…
but proceeding with WINNER‘s upcoming album, Remember, that’ll be released next week. The fact that BLACKPINK continued their Japanese arena tour instead of a comeback didn’t make fans happy, either.
With this in mind and patiently waited until April without any other announcements on a comeback, BLINKs are growing impatient, especially since it’s been an entire year since the release of “Kill This Love”.
To demand answers from YG Entertainment and call attention to the issue, they’ve trended the hashtag #BLACKPINK1YearOfHiatus along with #YGWhereIsBLACKPINK.

oh, this is what a comeback looks like.
I wanted to sing 10 more songs, if I had any.
Well, after a show there is really nothing to do.
In a studio, it's rare to see BLACKPINK. @ygofficialblink#BLACKPINK1YearOfHiatus#YGWhereIsBLACKPINKpic.twitter.com/ybmRiw3RAV— BLACKPINK RADIO (@bpinradio) April 4, 2020
I swear i don't mean any hate by comparing but you see the difference? Is that fair ? Sure no . Having only 14 songs in almost 4 years ? That makes no sense #BLACKPINK1YearOfHiatus pic.twitter.com/aXc8EOViPZ

Ever since the hashtag trended, YG Entertainment has not yet responded to the concerns of BLINKs.
