SM Entertainment to release world tour documentary film, “SMTOWN The Stage”
This summer, SM Entertainment will be releasing a documentary film based on their world tour concert series, SMTOWN Live World Tour.
Starting its releases in Korea, the documentary will be available worldwide, including Japan, China, and more.
SMTOWN Live World Tour first kickstarted in 2008 and has been across the world, stopping in cities such as New York City, Los Angeles, Paris, Tokyo, Beijing, and much more, and were equally greeted by hundreds of thousands of fans.
The documentary, titled SMTOWN The Stage, will mostly focus on its fourth concert series that began in August 2014 at the Sangnam World Cup Stadium and has visited Shanghai, Tokyo, and Taiwan featuring BoA, TVXQ, Super Junior, Girls’ Generation, Kangta, f(x), SHINee, EXO, and Red Velvet.
Special stages, interviews, backstage scenes, rehearsal, and behind-the-scene clips will be available in the upcoming documentary.
