Yoon Eun Hye’s fan cafe warning further disappoints her fans
Reportedly, actress Yoon Eun Hye is on the brink of potential PR disaster following recent disagreements with her fans regarding her upcoming return to the big screen.
After a year-long hiatus since starring in drama Marry Him If You Dare last December, Yoon Eun Hye is reported to be making a comeback. The actress has been in talks to star in a Korean, Chinese, and Japanese collaboration film, After Love, with actor Park Si Hoo.
According to media reports, a large faction of her fans are not at all welcoming of her comeback news, particularly due to the fact that the opposing role is being played by Park Si Hoo, who allegedly sexually assaulted an aspiring actress last year, although charges were ultimately dropped. The fans voiced their disappointment, saying they feel the pairing is not a wise choice for her career while criticizing her agency as well.
In response to the recent outcry by fans, she left her opinion on her fan cafe for the first time since its inception on September 19th, after switching to her new agency. The actress warned her fans that she won’t stand still if anyone insults the people around her. After such warning, Yoon Eun Hye’s fans are further disappointed that her first appearance on the fan cafe was to give them a warning. Also, the fans were displeased by the fact that they were treated as vicious netizens when they were really just trying to look out for their star.
Currently, Yoon Eun Hye’s agency has shut down the fan cafe and made an official statement:
“Yoon Eun Hye has been receiving personal attacks consistently in the past, even before this incident. After a lot of consideration, Yoon Eun Hye decided to leave a warning remark to the anonymous users making personal attacks not only to herself but also to her manager, family, and staff members. It seems like there was a misunderstanding with Yoon Eun Hye’s comments. She was giving a warning to those malicious attackers and not to her fans. There is no reason for Yoon Eun Hye to confront her fans.”
