Gugudan’s Mina Is Retiring From Her “Music Core” MC Role After 2 Years
gugudan‘s Mina is stepping down from her role as MC on MBC‘s Show! Music Core.
Mina first joined Music Core as an MC on February 24, 2018. Over the past 2 years and 3 months, Mina has stolen hearts with her charisma, quick wit, sweet charms, and fun chemistry with her co-hosts which have included NCT‘s Mark, Ong Seong Wu, SF9‘s Chani, and Stray Kids‘ Hyunjin.
She’s made such an impact as MC that she even took home the “Rookie of the Year” award in the “Music and Talk” category at the 2018 MBC Broadcasting Entertainment Awards in recognition of her excellent hosting skills!
But because she’s been such an amazing MC, it makes it that much harder to say goodbye. On May 30, Mina will be greeting everyone one last time as the host of Music Core.
Before her broadcast, Mina thanked her Music Core family, fans, and everyone who gave her a warm welcome on the show.
Thank you to the Music Core family, fans, and everyone who always welcomed me warmly. I was so happy to work with Music Core and to receive so much love. I’ll come back to showcase an even better side of myself. Thank you very much.
