6 Female K-Pop Idols Who Are Known For Having Many Male Friends
K-Pop is notorious for frequently keeping male and female idols apart in fear of dating rumors sprouting. For a few idols, however, strict company rules were not enough reason to stop making friends with the other sex.
That said, here are female idols who are known for having many male friends. Check them out below!
1. Oh My Girl’s Seunghee
First up on the list is Seunghee from Oh My Girl! With her energetic personality and openness, it’s no wonder she has so many friends. Among her famous male friends are BTS‘s V and Jimin.
The trio is known for having gone to high school together and keeping their friendship alive even after becoming celebrities.
I still remember how Jimin just cared about practicing. He’d practice until dawn so he was like a zombie and completely exhausted by the time he came to school. V would practice dancing while looking at his reflection in the subway door. I’d watch him and be so shocked.

As Seunghee explained in KBS‘s Happy Together, they still cheer each other on as fellow idols.
We still contact each other. They’re having a tour right now. Whenever I’m going through hard times, they tell me to talk about it instead of burying it…I felt really thankful.

2. Apink’s Bomi
Apink‘s Bomi is known for staying true to herself no matter whom she’s with. It may be for this reason why she has so many celebrity friends!
One of them is iKON‘s Yunhyeong, and the two made everyone laugh with their rendition of Psy‘s “New Face” in SBS‘s Law of the Jungle.
She even made a casual friendship with MONSTA X‘s Hyungwon over their shared atopic dermatitis!
3. GFRIEND’s SinB
Third on the list is none other than GFRIEND‘s SinB! Often praised for her free attitude, she is comfortable with the people around her.
Among male idols, she is especially close to ASTRO‘s Moonbin and iKON‘s Chanwoo as the three modeled for various brands together as children.
SinB and Moonbin even lived in apartments that were right next to each other and attended the same dance academy.
4. Jamie Park
As Hwaiting and After School Club showed the world, Jamie has many close friends of various ages, nationalities, and sexes.
Her bubbly personality and honesty attract the people around her. From podcasts to crazy games, she is always one of the first people to open up and have fun.
5. Amber
Amber and Jamie share a number of mutual male friends such as Eric Nam, DAY6‘s Jae, KARD‘s BM, BTOB‘s Peniel, and more.
Her amiable and chill nature make her the perfect friend to relax and share stories with. She’s been notably close with male idols like GOT7‘s Jackson and Bambam and Super Junior M‘s Henry ever since her days in f(x).
6. Somi
Finally, Somi is another female idol who has many male friends. She and AB6IX‘s Daehwi are particularly friendly as they’ve known each other since middle school and trained together in JYP Entertainment.
She was even seen sobbing when Daehwi made it to the final lineup of WANNA ONE, realizing his dream just one Produce season after she did as well.
Besides Daehwi, Somi is also close with her fellow The Black Label colleagues. She was seen hanging out with Teddy, Zion. T, and more in her reality show I Am Somi.
All of these female idols have one thing in common: friendliness in spades! It’s no wonder they have so many people they’re close to—both females and males.
