While all K-Pop group leaders have unique traits about themselves, there is something that all the leaders of YG Entertainment boy groups have in common. That is, they all were revealed to the public before they officially debuted. Here’s a look at when these leaders were revealed to the public.
1. G-Dragon (BIGBANG)
G-Dragon first appeared on television when he was just 6 years old! At the time, he was a part of a group called Little Roo’Ra, who ended up disbanding shortly after their formation.
2. Seungyoon (WINNER)
Seungyoon first made headlines when he appeared on Superstar K2 when he was just 16 years old. He gained praise for his talents, as well as his unique voice.
3. B.I (Former member of iKON)
When B.I was 13 years old, he was featured in MC Mong‘s single “Indian Boy”. Not only that, but he also participated in some promotions of the song.
4. Hyunsuk & Jihoon (TREASURE)
When Hyunsuk was 18 years old, he participated in the survival show MIXNINE. While he ended up making the debut team in the final episode, the debut of the final group ended up getting canceled.
Jihoon had a brief appearance on an episode of Stray Kids, where he was one of the trainees seen during the JYP vs. YG battle. At the time, he was 17 years old.
