Girls’ Generation Shows Their Support For Hyoyeon’s “Dessert” By Participating In The Dance Challenge
SONEs, where ya’ at? With Girls’ Generation‘s Hyoyeon making a fire comeback with “Dessert”, a hard-hitting EDM hook song featuring Loopy and Soyeon of (G)I-DLE, it’s no surprise that the dance is equally as hard to pull off. She is, after all, the main dancer of her generation.
The upbeat dance track is seeing lots of love and attention from fans all over the world, and gaining praise from dancers for being one of the most swag dances K-Pop has ever seen from female artists. Of course, her fellow members had to show their support!
1. Taeyeon
The duo took to Hyoyeon’s TikTok account to show off some dance moves. TikTok dancers ain’t got nothing on this pair!
The dance features a strong, powerful hip-hop choreography, while keeping moves just loose enough to look easy to the eye.
We thought only Hyoyeon could be the one to pull this off, but it looks like Taeyeon has some moves of her own!
Taeyeon perfectly executes the dance, even throwing in a little face at the end.
We are in love with their outfits too! Taeyeon rocks Marine Serre‘s iconic crescent print in a turtleneck sported by many artists including BLACKPINK‘s Jennie, while Hyoyeon went for the same monochromatic theme with a cut-out top.
2. Yuri
What we love the most is how unabashed they are, doing the dance right in the middle of a restaurant!
Hyoyeon didn’t let a short skirt stop her from rocking the dance moves!
3. Sooyoung
We love this! Sooyoung even brought out a dessert fork in honor of the song title.
She even threw in a little bit of sexy with the lip bite there.
4. Sunny
Sunny took a different route and kept her dance moves loose and gentle, focusing on what she does best – being sexy and cute at the same time!
She made the dance look completely different from the other girls.
Queens supporting queens? We love to see it! Hyoyeon has just concluded a successful run on Mnet‘s Good Girl, where she was rediscovered by the public for her all-rounder skills. She even pulled off an amazing high note! Catch her comeback with “Dessert” below.
