Super Junior returning this July to celebrate their 10th anniversary
Super Junior is the next SM Entertainment artist who is scheduled for a comeback in the agency’s “relay.”
According to the agency on June 24th, Super Junior is currently preparing to return in mid-July with a new album in mind for a release. In the same month, Girls’ Generation is also expected to make a comeback as well.
However, the official was clear to note that “it will not be an album but a different type of record” the group will be releasing.
Should Super Junior make a comeback on schedule, only 11 months will have passed since their last album MAMACITA, released on August 29, 2014. This new upcoming album is especially meaningful as they are celebrating a decade with fans since their debut in 2005 with Super Junior 05.
Additionally, this will be member Yesung‘s first album with the group in two years and four months since he was recently released from his military enlistment this year and was not able to participate last year.
Currently, Super Junior is on their Super Show 6 tour and will be holding a concert in Seoul on July 11th and 12th at the Olympic Gymnastic Park.
