Jessi Shares The Back Story Of Her “Tough Unnie” Collaboration With Superstar Lee Hyori
On a recent episode of MBC‘s Radio Star, Jessi revealed the back story of how superstar, Lee Hyori ended up making an appearance in her music video.
Jessi is coming out with a new song called “NUNU NANA”, and when she shared behind-the-scenes photos with the veteran idol, Lee Hyori, the internet went nuts.
And Jessi finally revealed how it all unfolded.
Jessi explained that three days before the filming of the music video, she thought she needed something a little more, which led her to take action.
I thought the music video needed a ‘tough noona,’ so I sent Lee Hyori Unnie a DM.

And despite her busy schedule, Lee Hyori generously agreed.
I felt bad for contacting her out of the blue, but she kindly accepted. Her apperance itself is light. Unnie’s existence is purely perfection.

Jessi then revealed her fangirl side and continued to rave about Lee Hyori.

On MBC’s Hang Out With Yoo, Lee Hyori expressed her wishes to form a “tough unnie” girl group with Uhm Jung Hwa, Jessi, and Hwasa.
And regarding that idea, Jessi expressed her interest.
