5+ Celebrities Who’ve Supported BTS Since The Beginning Of Their Careers
BTS struggled quite a bit when they debuted, as not a lot of people were giving them that much attention. However, some celebrities have been supportive of the members since the beginning of their careers. Here’s a list of a few of them.
1. The members of GOT7
The members of GOT7 and BTS have one of the most heartwarming friendships, as there have been multiple moments where they’ve shown off their bond.
Jackson and RM are probably the most well-known friends between the groups.
In a past interview with the Zach Sang Show, Jackson spoke a bit about his friendship with RM. He shared that they had been friends before they debuted.
Let me talk about RM. Him and I go all the way back, when we were trainees […] We met through a friend. And he’s the same year with me, year of the dog.
— Jackson
Jackson also had a sweet message when talking about BTS’s success and RM’s leadership.
They’re really hardworking, and RM is really, really hardworking. And he has a lot of pressure, ’cause he’s the leader of the group. Because of his personality, I feel like everything that he does, or they do, it just feels right. Yeah. I will say, they’re very talented and they think ahead, a step ahead. Very good strategy on everything.

2. Eric Nam
Eric Nam and BTS have known each other for many years, and have had many sweet moments together.
When Eric Nam gusted on the audio-video podcast Not Too Deep with Grace Helbig, he talked about BTS’s incredible journey to success.
I’ve seen them go through the entire thing. When they started, they were these underdogs in the industry and I know they were having a very difficult time because Korea, K-Pop, is so competitive. You have hundreds of groups debut every year. Maybe one percent is going to stay around for a few years.
— Eric Nam
He also talked about how BTS was able to break through thanks to ARMYs, and due to their incredible skills.
I think what really took BTS was their fandom, ARMY though. They were really rooting for that underdog. They were that perfect underdog story. But it worked because they’re amazing performers.
— Eric Nam
3. Jo Kwon
Jo Kwon had a lot of faith in the BTS members when they were just trainees, as a lot them featured in Jo Kwon’s music video for “Da One”, where some of them were backup dancers, and others were actors.
Not only that, but Jo Kwon selected J-Hope to feature in his song “Animal” when J-Hope was just a trainee!
To this day, Jo Kwon and the BTS members share a close bond.
4. Seunghee (Oh My Girl)
Seunghee has been friends with V and Jimin since high school. Even after debuting, they’ve been supportive of each other.
