J-Pop Girl Group Nogizaka46 Members Confirmed To Have Contracted The Coronavirus
J-Pop girl group idols from Nogizaka46 have been confirmed to have contracted the coronavirus. It was reported that on the 1st of September, their agency posted an announcement on their homepage to reveal that members Sato Kaede and Yoda Yüki have contracted the viruses.
As Sato Kaede is 21 years old (international age) and Yoda Yüki is only 19, there is a high possibility for quick recovery. It was revealed that the rest of the members and staff had already gone for testing and only the two of them had turned out positive. Currently, the rest of the company are under work-from-home as orders from the authorities.
However, as the two members were recently a part of the group’s promotions on AsahiTV‘s Music Station broadcast as well as FujiTV‘s FNS Music Festival, there are worries that external staff or artists may have come into contact with the two.
Nogizaka46 is a female idol group from Japan produced by Yasushi Akimoto, created as AKB48‘s official rival group.
