4 New K-Pop Songs Debuted On Billboard’s Digital Song Sales Chart
Each week, Billboard posts a new list of singles on their World Digital Song Sales chart to show which international songs are making the most sales that week in the U.S. K-Pop usually features pretty heavily on the chart, and this week, 4 new songs made their debut on the list!
Ranking the highest out of the new songs is CL‘s “+hwa+”, coming in at #3 on the chart. Fans of the former-2NE1 artist have been waiting a long time for her to have an official comeback, and it’s clear that they weren’t disappointed considering how well this song did!
She also has another new song ranking on the chart this week, with “+5 Star+” coming in at #13. Having two new songs rank on the list after her hiatus just goes to show that she’s still an act to compete with in the K-Pop genre!
At #14 on the list is MONSTA X‘s latest single, “Love Killa”. Despite the hardships that the group has been through recently, it’s great to see that they’re still doing well, and this song definitely deserves recognition!
The last new song to debut on the Billboard chart this week is “AYA” by MAMAMOO, ranking at #17. While this isn’t as high-ranking as some of their other songs in the past, it could very well rise on the chart in the future!
15 other K-Pop songs are ranking on the chart this week, too! Ranking #1 is K/DA‘s “More”, which debuted for the first time last week at #2. Next on the list is TWICE, ranking #5 with “I Can’t Stop Me” now on their second week on the chart.
BTS ranks at #7 this week with “My Time”, now on its 35th week on the chart. K/DA also has “The Baddest” still ranking on the list for its 9th week, now at #9.
BTS unsurprisingly charts again with “Filter” coming in at #11 on its 35th week as well. BLACKPINK comes right after at #12 with “How You Like That” on its 18th week.
MAMAMOO has “Dingga” ranking as well this week at #15, now with 3 weeks on the chart. TXT takes the next spot, #16, with “Blue Hour”, dropping from its #5 placement last week at its debut ranking.
BTS’s “Euphoria” charts at #18 for its 38th week on the chart, and BLACKPINK’s “Kill This Love” spends its 75th week at #19. BTS’s “Moon” is their last charting song this week at #20, now on its 8th week.
BLACKPINK takes up the next three spots (#21, #22, and #23) with “Lovesick Girls” (on its 5th week), “Pretty Savage” (on its 4th week), and “DDU-DU DDU-DU” (on its 86th week) respectively. And finally, K/DA wraps up the K-Pop songs ranking this week with “POP/STARS” spending its 28th week at #24!
Congratulations to all the charting artists!
